Over the centuries mankind mnogoih worried sound in its original nature and methods of sound production. Sound production has always had two objectives: the way proyavleniyasobstvennogo attitude and experiment. Electronic music obyazanasvoemu the birth of both of these components. Experiments with sound, but rather with the sound vibrations are inherently closer to science than in music. But is this an experimental and scientific work was beginning.
If you look at the development of technological progress, Poneman, that for some 40 years if the planet Earth has to rotate in a few dozen more quickly. Technological revolutions and general advances in technology have never developed such a rapid pace as they have in this century. All 140 years of peace edektronnoy music is constantly in motion.
The progenitor of today's electrical rhythms can be called a German physicist, mathematician Hermann Ludwig Ferdinand von Helmholtz (1821-1894). In 1860 he published his "Sensations of tone: Psychological Basic for Theory of Music" - the practical conclusions and analysis of your own research in the field of electromagnetic vibrations of metal and glass. Designed to them the unit was called "Helmholtz Resonator". After it was set up many more interesting musical instruments.
In the late '60s Eelectromusical development of the academic world and experimental music of the avant-garde rooms and research laboratories in small portions of sound began to leak onto the stage of mass musical culture.
The first, which was first used by non-trivial composition and technological approaches of electroacoustic experiments in his art were numerous representatives of the psychedelic direction and dazheBeatles (White Album), Elton John (Elton John 1970). It is difficult to say exactly why "non-musical musicality" was applied to it in times of "flower children" and not in the era of jazz dawn of 50th ... This we can only guess.
Over time, electronic music gradually introduced into the existing conventional musical forms. Branch and form derivatives of the electronics were translated into more affordable for the perception of rhythm and harmony: the electro-pop project (Kraftwerk, Telex, Rockets ...). For all the seeming dawn of electronic music, it seemed that the first shoots must inevitably evolve and grow into a mighty tree. But the miracle did not happen. In the mid-70s music scene is abruptly deflected in the direction of light beautiful "disco", which influenced the many serious genres. Even the super popular and well-known compositions as Queen, Ten CC, UFO, Manfred Man's Earth Band, overcome this limit, let's go, "a little bit the other way."
Over time, and changed the role of art in our lives. And maybe change the art itself? Rock - the musicians are no longer as certain preachers, and electronics have ceased to be messengers from outer space?
Technique also has its own "contribution" to this "cultural revolution". A separate position is taken by computers. Thousands of musicians today can play the "corporate" sound of any of the famous organists and drummers - is only dial a code. Pop music has been turned upside down. It is likely that you like on drive sound is not a piano, and enthusiastic exclamations should be addressed to no drummer and programmer. He probably did inspire you and a guitar solo.
I sincerely want to believe that people still remain a dreamer and a visionary, exceeding all imaginable submission, and all are classified outside of music, existing outside time, beyond space, as a creator, illuminated by the music of the future.

We Fear Silence present "A Bunch of Cuts"
After years of working together as DJs, artists and label owners, Marcus Intalex, Calibre, D Bridge, Klute and Doc Scott came together in late 2007 to open an online record store...
A Bunch of Cuts was born.
The collective was formed in the true spirit of independence and with a desire to make their music available to new audiences all the world over.
Bringing together some of the most innovative yet consistent labels around...
(31 Records, Commercial Suicide, Exit, Signature, Soul:r & Revolve:r)
The resident DJs cover a huge spectrum of sounds including Drum & Bass, Dubstep and Techno.
Despite a resident DJ roster that many nights can only dream of, the talent does not stop there.
Special guests on these nights have included Fabio, Lynx & Break to name a few.
ABoC delivers the deeper end of the D&B sound and should certainly be tested... spine tingling stuff when heard over the Cable sound system.

DMinds-FABRICLIVE-x-Critical-Sound-Mix
D*Minds (formerly Distorted Minds) is a collaboration between Jon Midwinter and Alistair Vickery; and it’s one that’s been going strong in the South West for over a decade now. Aside from their drum & bass productions, which have found homes on labels like Hospital, Digital Soundboy, Playaz and Break Beat Kaos, they also run their own record labels (D*Style and H.E.N.C.H.) as well as the club night RUN in their native Bristol. H.E.N.C.H. (aka Hard Earned Never Caught Hustling) was set up primarily as a home from Jakes to explore the darker end of the dubstep spectrum whilst D*Styles exists as a vehicle for the work of D*Minds and for other forward thinking d&b producers – their first signing was TC, a man who you’ll regularly see adorning our lineups.
Appearing here on Friday in the Critical Sound Room Two takeover, D*Minds have put together a mix that encapsulates the energy and stylistic array they’ll be displaying on the night. Featuring a slew of their material alongside pieces from producers like S.P.Y, Enei and the Icicle and Commix collaboration ‘Ultraclean,’ it sets the tone for this weekend perfectly.
